About Us

Legal presentations designed to meet the needs of students

Whether you want to hold seminars for students, careers in the law talks or hold legal workshops for HSC Legal Studies, we have you covered. We can work with teachers and their students on-site or virtually to provide the best learning environment for your school. We can cater to suit your needs.

Skilled and Experienced Presenters

Learning about the law doesn't have to be boring.  It can be fun and interesting.  That is why having people who have worked in the industry talking about their knowledge and experience about how the law works in the real world, promotes an interactive learning environment. Our presenters are passionate about the topics they present and bring enthusiasm into their seminars and presentations.  Our presenters have achieved qualifications in their field and many years of experience working in law enforcement and advocacy in court.

All of our presentations are customised for your needs to make sure you get the best experience possible.

Sean

Senior Sergeant of Police (Retired), New South Wales Police Force 1988 to 2019.  An experienced investigation specialist with experience in the interpretation and application of the administrative, civil and criminal law in conjunction with evidence law of Australia in the investigation, prosecution and administrative contexts.  Sean had an extensive career in the New South Wales Police Force spanning 31 years that included operational experience and as an advocate in criminal prosecutions and civil proceedings.  Sean was a qualified Police Prosecutor and holds a  Bachelor of Law degree, University of New England. An experienced lecturer including the Investigators Course, amendments to legislation and emergency management.    

Since retiring, Sean is currently a Teacher/Casual Academic in the School of Law at the University of New England, Armidale in Criminal Law, Foundations of Law, and Advanced Legal Research and Academic Writing. Sean is also completing a Master of Law (Research) 

Phil

Chief Inspector of Police (Retired)

New South Wales Police Force from 1982 to 2018

Performed operational  policing duties in both General Duties and Highway Patrol from 1982 to 1997 in the western suburbs of Sydney.

Trained and qualified as a Police Prosecutor from 1997 to 2011 conducting criminal and civil prosecutions on behalf of the New South Wales Police Force and provided ongoing criminal law training and tutoring in internal Police courses including the Investigators Course, Detectives Education Program and local training days.

Former Area Prosecutions Coordinator, Penrith from 2003 to 2011 responsible for the coordination and management of Local Court criminal prosecutions across 4 local court locations in western Sydney.

Commissioned in 2016 by the Commissioner’s Executive Team (CET) to re-write and deliver a criminal law curriculum as part of the New South Wales Police Associate Degree in Policing Practice (ADPP) for  New South Wales’ probationary constables.
